Very disappointed. Last night ordered chicken chop sues chow mein. Lots of noodles. Only 2 pieces broccoli. 3 baby bok Choy. 5-6 pieces chicken. For $20!!! Sauce very mediocre. No value for money. Will likely not return. Disappointing- I like to support local small business.

Hello. I went to the restaurant close to a year ago, before covid 19 began. I went with my parents because I was told by my father that the food was exceptional, even going as far as comparing it to a chinese restaurant we frequented many years ago. Unfortunately I was very disappointed. They decided to seat us in a seperate section of the restaurant which at first was nice to know that they tried to respect our privacy . Unfortunately the food was not what I expected. The server kept trying to offer my dad ( he was the one paying) different items that he doesnt usually order like live prawns , crab and items that were the house specialties. He said no to each one and then proceeded to order very basic western chinese food like beef and broccoli , chicken chow mein, wonton soup , sweet and sour pork etc. I also ordered the spicy wontons which sadly tasted like the chili sauce was thinned out and the wonton broth tasted very flavorless and watery similar to just heating up tea water and adding salt. The chicken for the chicken chow mein was very pale looking, and had no flavor to it, surely the cooks know how to season food but I guess they just didnt care because we didnt order any specials. Their obsession with broccoli was more than most chinese food restaurants as we ended up with more green than actual meat and for the price given, it was very expensive broccoli. Only thing decent in our meal was the sweet and sour pork, while everything else felt like a RIP off. Bill was 120 dollars plus and for that I couldve made all the food at home for half the price. Then as we got up and left we turn the corner to reenter the main seating area of the restaurant and it turns out we were the only caucasian people in the place, which made me think they didnt want other chinese patrons to see white people in their establishment similar to reverse segregation . All in all my experience was a gigantic failure on many fronts . You might have a better dining experience than myself but I personally will not be returning to Cindy's palace
